Amy Tan


I think that foreigner are discriminated against that speak different from what the normal american is used to. I think when people come across someone they cant really understand or there not used to hearing there dialect they don't treat them the same, i feel like you see them as not as intelligent as a normal american. But on the other hand it would be the same anywhere a English speaker american went but I think thats how people view them

Tapout ad

I am a huge fan of Mixed Martial Arts i also train (MMA) and I am around it all the time and some ads and commercials just blow your mind. One ad that stood out to me was the new Tapout commercial. In this commercial two fighters are in a match one guy preforms a flying triangle and a flying arm bar. These two moves are flashy and difficult. They are just moves fighters don't pull everyday. It really catches your eyes because when the fighter is in mid air you can see that the side of his shorts say Tapout. I think it puts that idea in your head that Tapout gear will help you reach  the skills to do moves like that. But to anyone watching I feel like they will want Tapout things. After watching Tapout commercials I want to go buy Tapout stuff.  And I actually have personally.

But i think Tapout does a good job  of being catchy and throwing there products out there. In this ad they do moves that look cool to pretty much anyone. You don't have to know anything about mixed martial arts or anything about what Tapout is and its still a neat ad.

Old Spice Superbowl commercial

The Old spice commercial in general is really well thought out. Its very catching and unique. The first couple of seconds grab your attention very well, like any effective business commercial is designed to do.

This commercial kind of projects to both sexes. In the commercial he's talking to the ladies which definitely grab the females attention, Also on the other grabs a male's attention because it put that thought in your head that its really what women want you to smell like. I think its very well thought out and uniquely put together. Also the author put a comical and attractive twist on it. In any commercial you want it to grab the targets attention and I really think old spice did a fantastic job.
