Week 12

I walked to CVS pharmacy and I never realized how more attention you would give to things when you slow down and aren't in such a rush. When I walked I paid more attention to peoples houses and just the places around Boiling Springs. you don't really think slowing down will change much but it honestly does. and i think if we related that to life we would be a alot better off. I think if we just slowed down and gave things the thought and paid attention to the details of life i think we would get more things out of life and enjoy it so much more. And just walking that one time has made me walk more. and also my truck doesn't get the greats gas mileage and walking is free so that helps also.

Week 8

I think what I struggle with most in my transition from college to high school is time management. College is so much better than high school and it will hit you all at once and its alot to take. I love it but there is some much to do and its hard to make decisions on what to do. And that will make school work hard to accomplish at time but I believe that with time I will get better with it.

week 6

personally for this one I think I would of wrote in standard English. the reason behind all this cause I believe if they would of wrote in black English I think they would of been viewed as uneducated and not been listened to like they wanted to. so i think standard English would be what I would of choose.

week 5

i've always loved that phrase. it was quote from one of my favorite movies and it has always stuck in the back of my mind. it just helps me think about how you can never give up. you have to keep on going no matter what happens.  you will never accomplish anything if you give up.

Week 4

this paper has made me think about topics in a different and helpful way. Like other papers i have written ill just kind of just wrote a paper about whatever the topic is but with this paper i have put alot more thought with what i am writing. Since i am having to compare these things i have had to pay more attention to what i am writing and put more thought into my paper.

I think that foreigner are discriminated against that speak different from what the normal american is used to. I think when people come across someone they cant really understand or there not used to hearing there dialect they don't treat them the same, i feel like you see them as not as intelligent as a normal american. But on the other hand it would be the same anywhere a English speaker american went but I think thats how people view them 

Tapout ad

I am a huge fan of Mixed Martial Arts i also train (MMA) and I am around it all the time and some ads and commercials just blow your mind. One ad that stood out to me was the new Tapout commercial. In this commercial two fighters are in a match one guy preforms a flying triangle and a flying arm bar. These two moves are flashy and difficult. They are just moves fighters don't pull everyday. It really catches your eyes because when the fighter is in mid air you can see that the side of his shorts say Tapout. I think it puts that idea in your head that Tapout gear will help you reach  the skills to do moves like that. But to anyone watching I feel like they will want Tapout things. After watching Tapout commercials I want to go buy Tapout stuff.  And I actually have personally.

But i think Tapout does a good job  of being catchy and throwing there products out there. In this ad they do moves that look cool to pretty much anyone. You don't have to know anything about mixed martial arts or anything about what Tapout is and its still a neat ad.
